Transmission delay on burble map

Now look I understand timing is dialed back to help produce the burble/pop and bang Map on our cars so there's a slight delay with throttle when on burble map while decelerating but for some reason when I try to get back on throttle it feels like it takes a while for the transmission to realize I'm hitting the gas sorry if I'm explaining it wrong but someone's gotta know what I mean
