As a newly, temporarily disabled person I'm very thankful for the second amendment.

General Discussion

I'm a 6'4" 25 year old man who's gone from jumping out of planes to walking with a cane after having spine surgery.

I've been ordered to walk multiple times a day outside by my doctor, and it's made me realize how vulnerable I'd be if I wasn't able to carry a handgun. If it wasn't for my 43x I would feel like I'm completely vulnerable. A Pitbull could attack me and I'd be screwed. I could be easily robbed or just pushed over. A strong gust of wind could run my pockets.

While I'll be strong again someday, for now I'm very thankful to have the ability to defend myself because of the right to bear arms.
