AIO long distance partner doesn’t text that much

My boyfriend and I are long distance for a couple months. The whole day when he is at work he doesn’t text me, and when he comes back home he is busy and hardly texts me then either. He says he can’t because he’s too busy, I think people can be busy and not let it hurt their relationships. I feel like I’m giving up on him.
