How to disable last hit indicator with persistent settings enabled?

hey, so i have persistent settings enabled. and the way to change your settings for them to be persistent USED to be to go into the client, change whatever you wanted, and then exit the client, and then uncheck and recheck read only in the persistent settings properties.

now, though, they moved certain settings to only be changeable in game, specifically, the last hit indicator. so now i have to disable it EVERY SINGLE normal game because i have persistent settings enabled and apparently riot had it set to enabled by default. so does anyone know how to disable the last hit indicator and then update persistent settings to save that change? thanks a lot
