Hello all! i’ve had my gargoyle gecko for 3ish weeks now. he’s 8months to a year old (guesstimated)
since i’ve had him my main concern is his eating and dropping. i’ve kept track of his weight every 3/4 days for this reason. the most i’ve seen it is at 25.5 then a week later at 23.9, and it fluctuates around that. 23.9 at the lowest actually. so it makes me think that he should be pooping but i haven’t seen anything at all, it could be very well hidden in the coconut soil substrate but i’ve really looked around. he also seems to not have interest in crickets. i got him to eat 2 a week ago but he doesn’t show much interest. he acts like they don’t exist, i tried dipping them in his food, leaving them be (unsure if that worked) but overall seems to be a fail. and im unsure if he’s showing interest in his [food](https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChsSEwj236PAwsGVAxWLSf8BHdDQLqkYACICCAEQABoCbWQ&co=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwx7LSBhB3EiwAjcodxE82jckjgfKmt7Us-IIGWyCDjYObiyEgqaG_yovCq36ZL-xRAGGysRoCMAIQAvD_BwE&sph&cid=CAAS0gHkaFvM2zvQ-cHP3ew65tg-tx3Vu1BZ7uxJRfFG9a6mzch_DZRPia0QNH-QBG8G2rj2Ti8OyIkkb_7zrhT2k0MxrcD-YKtTr5I5gMb6ZYYKJipGeF1i0cCdnLjQt50eNWNc5Uf-aK50OY_xz1GigmKgDh-S4eYMmJkVJtoBB3uGrdBWRTgacm1aBBLFf1xx1aumYUoiAKzLBQH-DFn40A7m4CMCX2Hp1HjLqh8yymEFNOVERZstZ2P752drSKXqzaip329Nj9v87UyRFAmf0yukpJI&cce=2&sig=AOD64_1b-L6-wQOs5SSzBq4updPTSOKMHA&q&adurl&ved=2ahUKEwi0yJvAwsGVAxUozvACHTA0DBwQ0Qx6BAgVEAE) either. he eats from my finger but i haven’t finger fed him in 2 weeks so he doesn’t get use to that, ive heard that’s been an issue with some people. its hard to tell if he’s eating any of it since they usually eat on their own at night and by the morning the moisture in the food is usually much lower, so it’s generally hard to tell. im at a loss and unsure as to what to do or what im doing wrong. i’ve done my research and im doing everything im supposed to be doing. i attached some pictures of him and a video i took before writing this post. any tips, questions, answers or anything at all is greatly appreciated. thank you all
