Any real world experience with Tesla's new panels?
Saw an add for Tesla's evolutionary new panels and had to see what Musk was up to. These panels are supposed to handle shading better by having more solar segments on the panels and presumably more bipass diodes. I'm not in the market for panels, but am curious as to whether or not these actually perform better in shading conditions, eliminating the need for micros or power optimizers. Clearly they do nothing for full sun conditions.
Anybody got real world experience or seen studies/reviews that aren't Tesla hype?
