Female dog in heat. Advice?

(Hope i used the right term, english is not my first language. She's on her "period")

Hi everyone. My female dog is in heat and it's causing some problems for her.

Her nipples and private parts are very swollen, which I know is normal, but she's licking herself there A LOT. I understand why, but her skin in getting a bit red and dry from the constant moisture. I have tried putting a small amount of vaseline on the dry parts of the stomach. It keeps her away from licking for a while as well. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

She is not eating well. Her appetite is very low. Ive tried putting some meatballs in her food bowl to encourage eating, but she's not eating as much as she should, maybe 1/4-1/2 of what she should have every day. I've been giving her some mild yogurt just so that she will ingest something. Anything else I can do? Also, any supplements/extra she should get as she's losing blood and such?

Other than that she's fine, a bit off, extra snuggly, but her energy is still there and she isn't womiting, or pooping weirdly.
