What happens after the 28th world martial arts tournament?

I went and read the wiki timeline and according to the article, the last event that takes place in the main canon timeline is the 28th world martial arts tournament (Age 784 May 7th). Is this event the end of the main/canon timeline? I know that GT takes place ten years post Buu, but I also know that it isn’t fully canon. I was curious if the canon timeline went beyond when Goku started training Uub? If not are there plans to continue the main timeline and flush out Goku’s training of Uub?
