Secrets Akumal v Playa Blanca

Looking at secrets akumal vs playa Blanca. First AI trip for me and my husband (early 30s). Akumal seems to check most of the boxes I just can’t get past how pretty (and new) playa Blanca is. Will I regret booking Akumal instead?

We’re low key, hang by the pool, bed by 9 kind of people. Want good food and drinks but we’re also not hard to please in that dept. can take or leave the beach!
