5800x3d vs 5500x3d for 3700x

Hello, I’m currently trying to figure out if I should go with a 5500x3d vs a 5800x3d to replace my 3700x. The net cost for me to upgrade to a 5500x3d would be $100 vs at least $220+ tax for the 5800. I’m planning on getting a 9070xt later this year to pair with it and hopefully get me to am6. Currently play w 36gb ram and a 2070 super at 1440p and upscaled 4k on my tv. I want to be able to reduce my 1% lows I encounter and have something that’ll keep up with the 9070xt. Thanks!
