Help me with my Artificer

Hiya all so i need some help. I've got a level 9 Artificer. She is Human and has gone down the route of the Battle smith.

Her main weapon is a Musket and I was wondering if anyone could help me make the max out of her weapon.

I've not really been very good with the combat side as I mainly focus on the character and roleplaying elements.
