I’m confused

I applied for store colleague vacancy in Tesco & they called me for uploading right to work check. I uploaded it on 17th June and haven’t receive any call for interview . One of my friend works in that store where I applied. He told me that the third party (recruitment team) decides or shortlists the candidates or applicants for interview. He also said that the process of induction started in the store. The team check candidate’s documents in the induction process but they haven’t hired anyone. I don’t know I’m I selected or not. My application is showing “Application under review” status.
