XG5 WATERBLOCK 5090 ASTRAL

I just installed the XG5 waterblock for my 5090 astral today. I noticed as I take apart the air cooler, it has thermal pads for the back plate. My previous experience with installing waterblocks on my other gpus, they all came with thermal pads for the back plate. The XG5 doesnt have them and im wondering if anybody has done this or is it possible to install thermal pads for the back plate. I noticed I said backplate alot so..... backplate.
