Tailoring Player Version Kits

Has anyone ever tailored a player version of a kit, more specifically in the armpit/bicep area? I’m 5’9 170, athletic build and just recently got the Mexico home kit player version in a medium. The chest and body fit perfect but it’s kinda tight around my arms and armpit area. I tried on the large and it fit me longer than I wanted it to
