PSA to those trying to do all quests/platinum/true ending the game.

I just got the plat on this wonderful game a couple days ago but I keep seeing posts on here asking about quests and how to unlock them, if they can still be completed, etc.

Here’s my advice:

1. The game literally gives you a notification when quests become available. If you check the quest menu, it will tell you where and when to find the person. Once you get into the general area, there will be a circular, blinking green icon on your map.

2. DO THE QUESTS AS SOON AS THEY BECOME AVAILABLE. Put the main story on hold and handle the sidequests first. There are a couple that become available and you need to advance the story to complete them, but the majority should be able to be completed as soon as they become available.

3. If that happens, check the quest menu often. It will give you a warning and say something like “this quest will become unavailable soon”. AKA do it now. If you advance the story, you’re locked out.

4. If you have missed the window for a quest, the icon on the menu will change to a scarecrow. Hopefully you have a previous save you can reload. If not… you’re screwed. Therefore, keep 3-5 save files (as you should with all RPGs).

TBH, I got the platinum without using any guides (other than the manuscript one, because some of those are tricky). As long as you do the quests as they become available, you should be fine. I will say though, once you get to the point where they put a huge purple marker on your map, you will probably want to look up an ending guide. You need all three to get the platinum.

Other than that, just go out and adventure, explore and help people. Hope this helps some of you at least.
