The Children Of Liora

Relatively an old poem I wrote a year ago but still cherish it in my heart.

Pretty, woodsy colors
of brown and white
make up her exquisitely made dress.
Grassy smooth long hair
is put up
in a dark brown ponytail,
as fresh and elegant as soil.

So gentle are the hands
of nature's nurturing goddess
that plant such delicate flowers
and whom isn't afraid
of getting her perfect, flowing dress dirty
with the earth's cold skin.

People believe
she is a newly kindled spirit,
sent by God
from the marvelous heavens themselves
to save Earth
from its death and destruction
caused by ignorant, unwise hands
of mere humans.

Some say she never did die,
but continues to live
in harmony in the wilderness,
moving north, south, east, and west,
planting everlasting flowers and trees
that will eventually grow up
to be called
"The children of Liora."
