Just got Venture X. Should I secure CSP ASAP while the SUB is elevated? Is my line of thinking correct here?

Help Needed / Question

I'm under 5/24 even recently getting the Venture X. I was pre-approved, but it's stuck in limbo awaiting my "identity" to be verified via my Driver's license that I uploaded.

Average monthly CC spend is $2k USD. Original plan was to orgnanically hit VX SUB, then make moves on CSP hoping that there'd still be the elevated SUB.

I just realized though: I'm self-employed and thus pay quarterly taxes, and it seems like paying by CC incurs a 1.75% fee. So what if I just paid my Q3 taxes so far (as opposed to savings account) via Venture X to hit the SUB sooner, and get the CSP NOW? Similar thing- I would likely hit the $5k spend organically, but if not, I'd have the rest of my Q3 tax payment to make. While that would be a net loss of .75% on the amount of tax paid (1.75% fee - 1% miles), that would still be much less than the extra 25,000 miles in the current elevated SUB.

So I'm wondering if it's worth securing CSP ASAP, or considering that just yesterday I got the Venture X, do I wait a few weeks to a month to let it cool down?
