The Lost World: Jurassic Park is now 29 Years Old
Ever since The Lost World: Jurassic Park turned 29 years old, I’ve somehow convinced myself this means I’m now legally required to buy another Jurassic dinosaur cardboard cutout every 29 days.
It started as a joke.
Now there’s basically a rotating prehistoric population appearing around the house like some kind of low-budget dinosaur sanctuary.
Interesting fact: The Lost World: Jurassic Park was one of the highest-grossing films of the 1990s and helped cement the idea that audiences would happily watch dinosaurs cause absolute horror for two straight hours forever.

At this point:
- visitors no longer react to the dinosaurs
- delivery drivers seem emotionally exhausted
- and I’m one cardboard T-Rex away from needing park security
Honestly feels less like home décor now and more like the early stages of a containment failure at Jurassic Park.
