Sourcing wine bottles for home brewing?

I was wondering if anyone had any sources or ideas on the best way of going about sourcing wine bottles so that I can bottle and cork some of my homebrew meads. Is my best bet just going to local pubs and seeing if they have bottles lying around handy?
