Lol, I was entirely flabbergasted with the whole situation. I ordered a pizza from Shakey's in Manila for my girlfriend since I'm from Iloilo, at first I thought  it would go smoothly like any transaction with Grab, since I am fond of using their service both for me here in Iloilo and for my girlfriend in Manila.

So, the rider was actually early compared to the estimated time that Grab predicted, so my girlfriend went down from her unit to pick it up in the lobby, but I noticed the receipt and even the packaging that the rider had taken a photo of and sent to me in our chat. The code from my app was entirely different from the code in the receipt, worst the packaging and the restaurant was different. My girlfriend was also confused and even asked the rider a couple of times if it was under *my name* which the rider said yes daw then just completely left. 

My girlfriend was left wondering if maybe I did order from another restaurant, so when she got back in their unit, she chatted and asked me about it. I was a bit shocked when she sent a picture of a paper bag from a bistro restaurant, when I just ordered a pizza from Shakey's since she was craving it, lmao. Then she showed the picture of the receipt from the bag without getting anything else out, the bill was actually near 1500? (The pizza was only 300+ including the delivery fee) By then, I immediately reached out to the rider via our convo in Grab which thankfully had not closed yet. I immediately told him to check again if he got my delivery right. He apologized and told me that he'll go back for it, I told my girlfriend to meet him down at the lobby to exchange the wrong order and she did, she also did not open or take out any of the items.

So the part that I was left entirely flabbergasted was when the rider chatted again, at first he was just being polite and saying please to check in my girlfriend's unit if there is an item and utensils that were left there from the bistro order, I immediately chatted with my girlfriend again since the rider seems to be in distress over it, and of course I wouldn't want him to be burdened with the cost if ever nga na something was left with my girlfriend. But she confirmed that there wasn't anything left nor did she take out anything from the paper bag from the beginning. 

So I communicated that with the rider, and at first he was still asking nicely to check again and my girlfriend did do a triple check, when I informed him na wala talaga, I think he lost it. He then turned to accusing my partner and I which can be seen below with the screenshot. The change was swift though, lmao. 

I have full respect for the working class, during a normal situation I make sure to add a hefty tip for them because they suffer enough through the heat and rain when they make their deliveries. I was also about to tip him for the inconvenience but then he started to accuse my partner of being a thief and was blaming us for his carelessness.

(He apologized way too late, since I already filed a report to Grab.)
