So I have been a service plumber for roughly 6-7 years non union. Iโ€™ve got about a year in new build so I understand a lot of concepts but still have sort of a learning curve. Originally when I applied they told me I would have to come in as a 4th year due to my lack of commercial experience, which I was fine with. After 2 months they called me back and told me I am coming in as a Journeymen, so I went and got my drug test done. I say all this to get advice from anyone who may have a similar experience. I am very confident in what I can do but I also know I have a lot to learn on the new build side of things. Is there anyway I can also take continued education classes in the union? I want the transition to be as smooth as possible. I understand I am coming from the non union side of things so Iโ€™m unsure of what to expect. Honestly this is all new for me so any advice would be awesome. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ› ๏ธ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ
