Why are comments in sub so insufferable?

Seriously, what’s with the attitude on this sub lately?

Instead of answering questions, some people just leave smug, sarcastic comments that contribute absolutely nothing. They’d rather act superior than actually help another freelancer.

If you’re new here, don’t assume the loudest or most condescending people know what they’re talking about.

This is supposed to be a community where people help each other, not a place to farm karma by being an asshole in every comment section.
