Hole in incision, looks disgusting

35f, four weeks post alif, I had my steri strip removed on the second. The doctor did not say anything about this hole when I was there, just said “everything is closed up”.

Since then, the day after I suddenly started extreme lower left abdominal pain that only hurt when I stood up. It was so bad that I was doubled over and Percocet didn’t even TOUCH the pain, it was like an 8 hour of 10.

Headed to the ER but despite a ct, urine test, and blood work, they found nothing wrong and had no explanation for my pain, so they sent me home even though I could barely walk. Yesterday this pain eased up, but it feels like it is returning again.

Additionally, the doctors at the ER seemed to think this gaping hole would just close up on its own. If anything it looks like it’s getting deeper and grosser. It’s right where my belly meets my groin so it’s hard to even see it to clean it, but I do clean this belly fold with wet wipes several times a day, and also dry it with toilet paper. Every time there’s liquid on the paper and a little bit of blood. This is an area of my body the I historically have issues with heat rash and wounds from splitting skin despite doing my hardest to keep it clean and dry.

Has anyone experienced this, and is this ACTUALLY going to heal over, or should I head to an ER/Urgent care? I have already left my doctor a message about this as well and sent a picture.
