What if most "get rich" advice is designed to keep the middle class chasing, not winning?

After COVID, millions of middle-class people entered the stock market. New demat accounts exploded. Everyone suddenly became a trader. Instagram, YouTube, Telegram everywhere you looked, someone was selling the dream of financial freedom through trading.

But what if that wasn't just a trend?

What if they wanted us here?

Not because they wanted us to become wealthy...

Because they needed our money.

I'm not talking about long-term investing, SIPs, or mutual funds.

I'm talking about day trading, options, forex, futures, crypto—the places where most retail traders lose money.

Every time a beginner loses, someone else wins.

Who are those "someone else's"?

The same institutions that have faster systems, more information, more capital, better algorithms, and teams of professionals.

The more I think about it, the more it feels like we're being sold a lottery ticket disguised as a skill.

We work 9–5.

We save money.

We put it into markets hoping to escape the rat race.

And somehow... that money ends up back with the people who already own most of it.

Maybe the middle class isn't participating in the game.

Maybe we are the liquidity.

Maybe the dream isn't to make us rich.

Maybe it's to convince us we *can* become rich, while statistically most of us never will.
