Struggle

Hi! I've been exploring how to solve my BED for the past 3 years. What has mostly worked for me is intuitive eating. I can spend the day eating nutritional foods and including some snack that is not as nutritional. And with that I mean that I enjoy them and I'm not making an effort, it comes natural to work with my satiety and hunger levels.

However, when I finish dinner I have the habit to eat some dessert, but it ends up with me eating the whole pack of cookies. I've tried solving that with the brain over binge method, but I feel like a different person that I cannot control when that happens. Also tried telling myself that there's plenty food and that it is okay, but doesn't work for me.

Today it has come to my mind that it could be helpful not to have those foods that trigger my binge at home. What I mean is that i give myself permission to eat whatever I want, but I have to go buy it, rather than having it available every time.

Has anyone tried it or thinks this could end up in more urges?
