Hello folks. Hope you are doing well. I am here to request all of you to kindly mail ERP for the recent traumatic experience we all underwent during subject registration. I have attached the mail in picture, as well as in text (in double quotes):

"

Respected sir/madam

This is to request you to reset the subjects and carry out the subject registration process once again afresh for everyone.

It is utterly shameful and disappointing as a student of one of the best engineering institutes of India to have such a horrible experience while undergoing a simple process like subject registration. Handling the server load becomes one of the most basic needs of the ERP of a national institute.

Every part of this process has been unnecessarily made complex and time consuming to say the least. To even "choose" an "elective" the student has to spend hours and a ton of energy without any aid or instructions from the very institute that provides it. No guide on how to choose/select/apply for electives or how to work through the interface is provided by the administration.

And when the portal does open, it crashes and every selected option is wiped out clean for some, while others succeed and get their subjects. Clicking apply doesn't fill the row, which means one can't choose the subject he/she desires, waiting for which might deplete the seat of the subject which he/she can select.

In order to account for the unfair advantage given to some students over the others, it is an extreme necessity and obligation of the administration to reconduct the subject registration with proper handling of traffic and guidelines to ensure everyone participates in the process fairly.

Hope you will look into this matter with utmost attention.

Thank you for your patience.

Regards.

This is the least we can do as students of this institute. Raising voice against unjust and failure of system has become absolutely necessary if we want to really improve our college. Please share this with as many people as you can. It doesn't take much effort.

Thanks.

Mass Mail ERP, let them be ashamed
