Kinger lied?..

Hey folks, hope this is the right tag as I'm a first-time poster, but did anyone else notice how in Ep 9 Kinger blamed Caine's deletion on him messing with the console? Like, yeah, he surely was in some capacity, but Kinger pressed the delete button. He didn't have to lie, but I guess any human would in a moment like that..

Idk, any outside thoughts on this would be interesting to me ^-^
