Water purifier AMC feels like daylight robbery now. What are you guys paying yearly?

What are you guys actually paying every year for water purifier AMC / filter change?

I’m trying to understand if my family is getting looted or this is just normal now.

Every time service is due, the bill somehow becomes 3k, 4k, 5k, sometimes more. Filter change, membrane change, service charge, AMC renewal, some random part, then “sir ye bhi weak ho gaya hai”.

The purifier itself costs 15-20k. But after buying it, you still keep paying like it’s a subscription.

At this point I’m genuinely wondering what ownership solved.
