Fried chicken place between Dublin and Limerick?

We (4 lads) are travelling from Dublin to Limerick on Saturday and looking for a stop off place along the way. Looking for the best place to have a 'snack box'

Don't really want a Supermacs or KFC. Looking for recommendations for somewhere the does good fried chicken and homemade chips.
