visa expiring options
I'm on 1 year humanities visa though I was unemployed in the recent months. I'm still looking for jobs and want to continue working here in the long term however my current visa is expiring soon.
If I can't apply for renewal before it expires, is it a good idea to go to immigration and explain my situation to them? What are the things that I could prepare to avoid the worst outcomes?
I'm trying my best in my situation but I'm been through some personal events that was very difficult for me in the past year so I really want to avoid any potentially aggressive communication and conflicts as much as possible and the thought of going to immigration really scares me.
I appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!
