the removals dont justify bringing back valko

idk why valko fanatics think this is some "gotcha" moment

one of the main pillars of their argument was, "if they can do this to valko, what's stopping them from doing it to the other LIs?" and now some of these people are treating xavier's wu being removed and the numbers on the catch-22 skins changing like they prove harassing random people or the push to "bring back valko" was the right response

but that just doesnt make sense to me at all. it would if infold was making these decisions completely out of their own free will but from everything we've seen, that doesn't seem to be the case. infold still has to comply with the external pressure of government expectations and local social standards if they want to keep operating, their hands are kinda tied

so yeah, i think we can all agree it sucks, but these are the kinds of changes they kinda haveee to make, and i don't understand how bringing back valko changes or fixes any of these issues

what outcome are they expecting? if the issue is outs of infold's control, then "bring back valko" isn't a realistic demand because it doesn't address the reason the changes happened in the first place

if their campaign was reallllly about improving quality control or catching problematic content earlier, that would at least target something the company can actually control but that's not rly what they're pushing for. it's def not the main focus of the petition LMAO. their entire movement's main goal is just "bring back valko," as if reversing one decision somehow changes or fixes everything that caused all of this. it doesn't solve the underlying problem, so I genuinely don't see what they think it's going to accomplish
