DOOM Dark Ages cracked DLC with purchased full game?

I purchased the OG game via Steam but want to play the DLC, and decided to download the crack. Is there a way I can play the DLC but keep my Steam save data somehow? Anyway to launch the full game from Steam but add the cracked DLC or something? Or will I have to reinstall the entire game as a cracked version and launch it that way?
