First time watching, season 9 is abysmal

This is the first time I'm watching Friends and I was absolutely loving it. I had no idea what I was missing. But ever since season 9 started, something changed. The quality dropped so much that it feels like a completely different show. All the characters became annoying and way too exaggerated, it feels more like a telenovela now. Not to mention the huge number of sexist and homophobic jokes that used to be occasional but now are everywhere.

I'm currently at the episode where Monica sings and you can see through her clothes. Does the show get better? I want to know if it's worth continuing or if I should just stop here.
