Insurance completely dropping zepbound

Well. Despite being approved in May 2026 till May 2027 my employers decided to stop covering zepbound of course after i switch from wegovy to it in May. I don’t even know what to do, especially since ive already done wegovy and it doesn’t do anything for me. I’m not sure of any alternatives and my employer when i questioned why i had a letter saying i was covered for a year they suddenly went back on sure didn’t help me in how to find alternatives. My doctor said call the insurance. Like what??? The doctor prescribes you a medicine, tells your insurance you need it, and that’s that but now I’m supposed to ask my INSURANCE TO DECIDE? I hate it here. I’m so busy with work and personal and family matters like i have the time to sit on the phone all day arguing with insurance people who don’t care about preventing illness and jsut want money. I’m feeling really defeated after being so excited to start this medicine 😣idk if anyone has a similar situation or any advice. Just thinking about it gives me a raging headache
