I made the dumb mistake of going to a non BMW Certified Mechanic for a logbook service. The mechanic is reputable with other German auto like Volkswagen and I assumed the same would apply to BMW but apparently not. (They claim to be experienced in BMW dealings)

I have got a 2016 F20 125i LCI and after my service was done I checked the service records screen from iDrive to find they had'nt input that service into the record. I asked them to fix and after 3 failed attempts on revisits they said they finally got the right tool and to swing by. He plugged up the laptop through the OBD and used HU Service Manager to create a new service entry and uploaded it to the car. However after he restarted the iDrive we found out the whole Service Requirements Screen turned up empty, like literally empty, as seen on the photos. All the parts requirements, Engine Oil, Brake Fluid, Brake Pads etc etc had disappeared. Futhermore the option to check the service history also disappeared and now I can't access my old service records or the new one he supposedly uploaded.

If anyone has any clues on what could have gone wrong and what should i do now please let me know. Thanks tons.

p.s never go to PacorTech for beamers.
