New native apps are out: VLESS Reality and Hysteria2 on every platform
The rebuilt VPNBaron apps are live for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. One account covers up to 5 devices.
The headline is the protocol lineup. Ordinary VPN traffic has a fingerprint, and firewalls that block VPNs (hotels, campuses, offices, entire countries) block it by spotting that fingerprint. The new apps ship two protocols built for exactly those networks:
- VLESS Reality: your connection presents as a normal HTTPS session to a real website. There is nothing VPN-shaped to detect, so there is nothing to block.
- Hysteria2: runs over QUIC, the same transport as HTTP/3, and holds its speed on congested or lossy Wi-Fi where TCP-based VPNs crawl.
IKEv2 is still there for everyday use and instant reconnects on mobile. You don't have to pick: Baron Pathfinder tries routes automatically until one connects, so on a hostile network the app does the protocol homework, not you.
Also in the apps: kill switch (if the tunnel drops, traffic stops with it), one-tap connect, no config files anywhere.

Every plan includes every protocol, and there's a 7-day money-back guarantee, so the honest test is to run it on the worst network you know.
If you find a network we can't get through, post it here. That's the bug report we want most.
