hi lf pre-med freshman schedule advice

hi everyone!! i’m planning out my freshman fall schedule rn and could really use some advice

i’m currently deciding between majoring in psych or bio, and i’m maybe considering pre-med or pharmacy. but ngl i’m not too sure

i know a lot of people start with chem 101 their first semester for pre med, but i’d have to take chem 99 first and then chem 101 after. i’d also eventually have to take math 105 and math 106.

right now i’m thinking about taking:
my constellation + writing class
bio 202L (201L didn’t fit)
psych 101

i honestly fw this schedule a lot because it lets me explore the two majors i’m most interested in before committing to one. but i’m kinda worried i’ll be behind if i don’t start chem and math right away.

would this put me behind if i end up majoring in bio or decide to go pre-med? or is it pretty normal to start chem/math in the spring? i know duke says your first year is supposed to be for exploration, but i’m not sure how much that applies if there’s a chance i go pre-med.

also ngl… i really do not wanna take an 8:30 am chem 99 my first semester 😭

does this schedule seem reasonable, or should i be pushing myself more and just getting chem and calc over with? i kinda just wanna spend my first semester figuring out whether i actually like bio or psych more before locking myself into anything.

thanks!!
