Diy Mp3/Mp4 player for my gf

So, im a complete newbie when it comes to this. I have basic knowledge of 3d modelling (so i can make a personalized case and get it 3d printed by a friend) and very basic knowledge of programming, but i can follow any tutorial on my pc.

My project is to make a custom mp3 player (idealy, mp4 with a display unless it makes its way more complicated) using arduinos (wich i dont control AT ALL yet, would have to learn to use them) I have 2 months before our anniversary to make it. My questions are:

Do i have enough time?

Can i get a list of the components i should get?

How expensive would it be?

Would having a display make it much harder/expensive?

Are there any programs that i can directly dump into it for the display to show a list of the songs?
