Does anyone else have a severe issue of save scumming commitment mode

Ive started several commitment runs telling myself "this time, I won't close rimworld without saving if one of my beloved pawns die" but then... the second a raid happens and Nater or Lu dies, I shut rimworld off then re open it. It's bad, I only accept deaths very rarely
