Want to know history behind the phrase 'Keep furry weird'

I don't know when i saw the phrase for the first time, but I noticed i seeing that phrase a lot recently, I wanted to know more about the phrase because i'm interested about that so started to searching about that! But unfortunately, only lore i could find was wikifur's campfire tail page, No 'knowyourmeme' page or other ways to find lore related to them, Using LLM was no option so decided to ask that here! so I wonder if that phrase have any story behind it.

Thanks!
