📌 READ THIS BEFORE POSTING: Welcome to r/trytomeetagain!

How many times have you met someone while traveling, had a great conversation, and later thought: "Damn, why didn't I ask for their contact info?" If you want to try to reach them, this is the place to post.

1. ALL POSTS MUST FOLLOW THIS FORMAT: [Location (e.g., city, train, flight)] - [Month and Year] - [Short description of the meeting]

2. THE "SECRET DETAIL" RULE (Crucial for verification): It is very important to keep some details private so you can verify the identity of the person who contacts you.

Here is how your post should look:

• Title: [Ship Hirtshals to Tórshavn] - [October 2025] - A guy that previously went to New York
• Body: "On a ship from Hirtshals to Tórshavn, I talked with a guy who told me about his travels in NY. He also visited a village a little bit away from NYC and an island. He went to Niagara Falls by train and got a stamp on a bridge."

3. HOW TO CONNECT SAFELY: If that guy finds the post, he can write a public comment saying: "I think that's me!" At that point, the OP (Original Poster) will ask him in a Private Message: "Which village did you visit? What island? What day did you cross the bridge?" Once you are sure it is the right person, you can safely exchange contacts.

🚨 IMPORTANT PRIVACY RULE: ALL verification questions and contact exchanges MUST be done via Private Messages. NO personal information or contact details can be displayed publicly.
