What's the best pair of hiking boots you've bought? [mens]

My friends always gets blisters on his feet's with his regatta hiking boots so for his birthday I want to give him the comfiest boots and socks!

I'd rather it cost money and is good quality!

I'm thinking summer hiking boots or shoes can you advise thanks
