**Hey, I’m Adrian. Lately, I’ve been super stressed out, and my mind is just all over the place, constantly thinking about an “escape the Matrix” kind of thing. It all started a few weeks ago, with the dreams.**  
**I’m in bed, and I wake up thinking it's real life. I get up and go to the kitchen to get a glass of water. I see my partner just staring at me non-stop, without saying a word. I ignore it and try to turn on my laptop, but it doesn't work. The outlets don't work either. I check my phone, and it won't turn on. I try to leave the apartment building, but every single time I try, I just find myself right back on the stairs. So, I decide to go back inside. The only light that works is the tiny one from the stove hood. I try to turn on the main lights… nothing. I try to light a candle to get a bit of light, but the lighter won't even catch.**  
**Then I notice something at the small window next to the bed. A strange figure. It looks a bit like the drawing I made, but not exactly. It has a long, dark body and it's staring through the glass… not at me, though. I freeze. It just stands there, its eyes darting across every single corner of the room, but its body doesn't move an inch. Eventually, I get goosebumps all over, and I slowly crawl back toward the bed. I blink, and it's gone. But I can still feel something standing in the corner of the room, and suddenly, there's a loud knocking on the apartment door... As I turn around, I finally wake up.**  
**And then, it's just a normal day. I haven't told anyone about this dream yet, but it’s been repeating every single night for two weeks straight without stopping. Is this just because of all the stress built up in my head? What do you guys think?**
