I am really struggling here and could use some community support. I bought my first printer a few weeks ago P2S Combo with AMS2 pro and I am struggling to get the AMS working. I've had a support ticket open but the responses have not made a lot of sense nor have they helped so I'm not sure if it's a hardware problem or software problem.

situation: when plugging in my AMS the lights flash white in turn but never turn solid as if it never finishes initializing. I have attempted to put in bambu filament rolls to any of the 4 feeds and it doesn't take in the filament (but it does read the RFID tag and find the filament type) - see video for what I mean.

additionally I get the error "AMS certification failed" but I follow the instructions to unplug and replug the unit and reboot the printer and usually the error goes away

this was all when I had just set up my unit.

support has told me the following from exchanges

1. they initially believed the problem was with the P2S extruder filament sensor. they sent a unit and I replaced it and it still didn't work

2. they sent me instructions to revert my software and it still didn't help the filament feed issue

3. I have a basic multimeter and was able to try to probe the 6 pin connector. when plugged into the AMS the correct resistivity values came up but I don't have the capability to probe the mainframe connectors in the AMS

4. wiki on bambu site shows how to probe the 6 pin connector when it's plugged into the unit but the instructions are for the H series and the resistivity values didn't match the values so I'm not sure if that means anything

5. same issue as line item 4 goes for attempting to probe the filament buffer

I am really struggling and this is my first foray into printing so I would appreciate any help
