Help a mama out please?

Afternoon lovelies,

We are going to be travelling from Milton Keynes to Holyhead on a Sunday then getting the morning ferry the next day, with a 5 and 10 year old, ADHD and AuDHD. We usually head via Liverpool but decided on a change so now we need some advice on places to stop along the way for breaks & places to eat in Holyhead on the Sunday evening.

We have national trust membership so will check out those too, but usually like to break up the journey in the middle somewhere with an activity for a couple of hours. They’re getting a little old for soft play though so we need a new tactic.

Can you recommend anything? Any must dos? Any Holyhead parents who can suggest family friendly rest for a Sunday evening?
