Diagnosed with MILD ADHD

SEEKING ADVICE

So guys i had a doctor's visit and I got diagnosed with MILD ADHD .. so did a research online and found out that i dont have a severe but manageable adhd. Im 20 y/o btw..

Could anyone explain mild adhd better pls

Its like my brain made ways to hide it. Kinda had these traits in me since 10yrs old or so as I faced a hard time in school. And now when my grades fell behind in uni i went to a doctor who did a series of tests and got diagnosed

But he didn't give me any medics saying i can figure it out .. its super hard for me to start things, or sit through classes and my degree which doesn't get me interested, but some niche topic or something related to what I like, i would lock in for hours for some reason .. starting tasks feels like a boulder, always distracted, songs playing in head 24/7, random memory from 2022, always had trouble falling asleep since childhood

Got labelled a lazy but ambitious kid, and i really want to know my own condition better .

If someone is diagnosed with the same mild adhd could u pls explain mild adhd and gimme advice and tips on how to cope better with mild adhd ?
