Have you taken a family member from the USA to a foreign country to live in a nursing home/ assisted living facility/memory care facitility?

I am sorry I asked a similar question and did not pay attention, apparently did not realize I was missing the most important part of the question.

I have a relative who is going to need memory care in a few years. The USA is more than she will be able to pay

Has anyone taken a family member to a foreign country to live in a facility for dementia or alzheimers?

How much did it cost?

Was it hard to get the visas/insurance?

How is it working out? And if you would like to share, what country and town are they in?
