Going for ITAA title or bachelor degree as an adult?

Question

I’m working for 1.5 years in a small accountancy office. I like working here and don’t see myself changing soon. I also did my internship here.

I went back to school fulltime and achieved a graduaat. Now after working for some time I doubt what’s the best choice.

I’m already 29 so I started later in life. My boss says he supports me to go for ITAA later if I want that but it’s not a must for them.

But I doubt if I ever will achieve that as I find my daily work already difficult sometimes, but I have always very positive evaluations.

Another option is going for the bachelor degree via verkort traject. This are still 90 study points and is via distance learning so all self study. They advice me to spread this over 4-5 years so I will be 33 when I graduate. I will not get more wage of tasks at my current place with a bachelor, but I know other offices make a difference sometimes. I don’t plan changing jobs. This will be for more job security if needed in the future and more knowledge.

What is the next best step now? Wait some years and try for ITAA or go for bachelor in the meantime and maybe try afterwards going for ITAA or not at all?
