How do you access an NHS dentist if none in your area are taking new patients?

I’m in need of a root canal, but I cannot afford private (I also don’t qualify for finance). But no-one in Peterbrough is taking new NHS patients.

What do I do? I cannot work due to my health so there’s no way to get enough money to pay private, but I also cannot just leave it.
