A job interview

I had a job interview today as a wellbeing facilitator at an aged care facility. I’m currently pursuing my MSW.
Everything went well. I did a course on dementia. I researched and researched, poured my heart into it. Connected with the cause and was fully prepared. The interview was amazing. Truly.

Until I had to tell them about my placements next year and how they will impact timing. And I wished we could work around it, work evening hours and weekends. Something. I showed flexibility but I’m not sure that’s enough. Continuity of care is so important and I was so hopeful to be lucky enough to study and work in the field at the same time.

I may not get the job anymore. I’m disheartened. And for most other jobs I need a license and a car, both of which I don’t have or isn’t financially feasible at the moment. This place was 20 mins from me.
